Hi, hi! Welcome to day 23 of the video game challenge! Today’s challenge is ‘game you thought had the best graphics or art style’.
This one is a bit hard because I enjoy many different styles of art. I mean, I could write about what game I thought had the most beautiful art style because it was the most realistic, or because it was all in watercolor style, or because it was quirky and fun.

Today, I think I will go with Yoshi’s Woolly World developed by Good-Feel and published by Nintendo for the Wii U. I know there is Kirby’s Epic Yarn as well but I enjoyed the filled in style of Yoshi’s Woolly World a bit more.
This game is bright, lively and fun! It is a nice change of pace when I don’t want to play a game that is full of super dark death and destruction. Let’s also not forget all of the costumes from the amiibo!
In Yoshi’s Woolly World, the Magikoopa, Kamek has turned nearly every yarn Yoshi into bundles of yarn for Baby Bowser. This causes the yarn Yoshi to be scattered across different worlds and it’s up to two Yoshi’s that weren’t unraveled to save the rest of the yarn Yoshi!
I like the style of this one slightly more than Kirby’s Epic Yarn because It has more depth in terms of color. In Kirby’s Epic Yarn, everything is a yarn outline, whereas in Yoshi’s Woolly World they are filled in. Yoshi’s Woolly World is brighter as well. Kirby’s Epic Yarn is mostly pastel colors which is great and it’s really pretty but I prefer the brightness a bit more.
Have you played Yoshi’s Woolly World? Which amiibo costume is your favorite?
